Ever wonder what an outlet would look like if left alone for 20 years?

I discovered this in an (obviously) abandoned structure that itself looked no better. What made this shot fun was that the sun was shining though a hole in the roof and hitting the outlet at just the right moment to really highlight the details in the decay. While it looks like a close-up macro shot, this plug was actually on the ceiling and required the reach of my zoom lens. The colors have been untouched, and looks as interesting in person as it does on this site.
