$Million View

Ask anyone who has been privileged enough to gaze at Manhattan at night and they’ll agree it’s a spectacular sight. It’s one of the most desirable views in the world – and for good reason. There’s a certain elegance that captures your attention and refuses to let go. In an odd way, it’s almost calming, despite the non-stop activity of the city that never sleeps. Your mind is left to ponder what events are unfolding in the twinkling lights of the skyscrapers and streetlamps. Or maybe your mind can relax after a hectic day of running the streets.

This image was created before the current owners began their redevelopment of this former factory. As you will notice, the view of all of Lower Manhattan was unobstructed – all the way from Verrazano Bridge to the Empire State Building in fact. Since then, the long row of windows seen here has been divided up into condos – making getting this same large-scale view impossible. There could be a million things that this person is thinking about as he gazes towards the city, almost hypnotized by the unnatural beauty of the cityscape. The redevelopment also means that he could only briefly enjoy the sight in person.

Of course, to even glimpse a portion of this view from your own residence would run you well into the 7-figure range. However, this full, panoramic view is available to you no matter where you are in 14×10 size for $450.
